When you create an account: your username, display name, a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form), your chosen avatar and the primary location you type in. When you use the service: the tasks you post (including any addresses and instructions), the tasks you pick up, ratings you give, and the proof you submit.
Proof means a photo, a note, and the GPS position of your device at the moment you submit. We use GPS only to check that you were near the task location. We don't track your location at other times.
We don't ask for your real name, email address or any ID document.
If you use TaskNow by text message, your mobile number is your account. We store it, the first name you give us, the tasks you post, and the messages needed to run the conversation (for example, a half-finished task). We use your number only to run the service: to reply to you and to tell you when a worker picks up your task or submits proof. We don't use it for marketing and we don't sell or share it, apart from the text-messaging provider that carries the messages. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts.
Your display name, avatar, primary location, join date, completed-task count and rating are public. Task details are visible to anyone using the site, except private reference fields, which only the poster and the assigned worker can see. Proof (photo, note and GPS result) is visible only to the poster and the worker. Photos are kept in private storage and shown through short-lived links. Your phone number is never shown to workers or other users.
On our hosting providers' servers (an application host, a database and a file-storage bucket). Our providers process this data only to run the service for us. We don't sell your data or show ads.
We don't use cookies or analytics. Your browser keeps a sign-in token in local storage so you stay logged in, and it is removed when you log out. The map and fonts are loaded from third-party servers, which can see your IP address when your browser fetches them.
You can change your name, location and avatar in your profile, and change your password there. To delete your account or ask about your data, write to joekolko43@Gmail.com.
